My Recent Artwork...

I haven't really had much time to post my art on here as I am constantly bust doing other things. But hey, I now have time and some pictures!
These are my recent items.
I guess you could say I've been in a rather, "Pheasant Feather/Pearl/Rose" kind of mood. They add a really subliminal touch of elegance...

Halloween

Let me be the first to say that Halloween is pretty fricken awesome. If not for the kids running around in some pretty cute costumes, then let the fun Halloween-based things to do be my reasoning for loving the holiday.

I love to dress up, and Halloween gives me a reason to powder up my face, put on huge fake lashes, stick some cute red flowers in my hair, paint my lips red (though I always do that anyway :P) and hop into one of my more fancy dresses with stockings and prance around with a huge bowl of candy. I don't stand out a bit, it's great!
This year I really can't say I really dressed up as anything specific. But I fancied myself up quite nicely, and felt like a rich Spanish mistress, (it's the flowers, ya know) so I will take claim to that costume. I'll say I was a Spanish mistress.

I don't see the fuss with people thinking it's some Satanic thing supporting bad eating habits. I read an article in the paper about that. Some guy says he "doesn't support it because it doesn't seem right to allow our children to dress up as murderers and prostitutes" and that jazz. Well guess what?

It's rubbish. Absolutely stupid.
If ever I have kids, they are going to be just as Halloween-crazed as I am. There's nothing wrong with that. If Halloween is considered bad, then so are most video games, telelvision shows, food on the shelves, and birthday parties. So throw my ass in jail.

I love it. <3

Nacho

Just to share the joy, I figured I would introduce you to Nacho, my sister's orange cat.
He's quite strange and I think I have thousands of videos showing this, but I really think only one truly serves as proof of how abnormal he is. It's the video of me on the floor spinning him around in circles.

While most cats would be smart and run off before I could do it again, Nacho just kinda sits there...it's hilarious. As I spin him around he tips over onto his side and watches things spin. I love him.

He just puts up with it and takes it...poor kitty, haha.

Love it.

Halloween

So Halloween is coming up and I will be the first to say I can't wait. The only downfall is how difficult it is for me to choose a costume, as I am unbearably picky. I'm that person who doesn't want to look like an idiot by underdoing it. I also hate the thought of being something bland and common, like a witch, or something lame like that. So I have been thinking of what to be since halfway into September. This gave me plenty of time to think about what I felt like portraying.

Well, after over a month of though, I've finally got it...

I'm going to be a roller derby girl!

A couple bruises and scars and a big broken nose (which I might need to perfect before Halloween day...) It's genius! Haha.

Oh, and I though you all should know that the song of the day is Home from Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. I would describe it as a Johnny Cash and Indie sound mixure haha.

Oh Joy!

Oh I have been meaning to create my own blog for the longest time, and now that I made the decision to play hookie, I finally can! *Sigh* What a perfect day to stay home, style up your hair just for fun, and blog, haha.
